Legal notice

RoadBook+ is published by Cedaya (France). Contact: contact@cedaya.fr.

Hosting: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA (vercel.com). Encrypted account data is stored in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).

The application reads and writes the open Roadbook format, an MIT-licensed specification published at roadbookformat.org.

Terms of use

RoadBook+ is free for personal use. Professional use (travel agencies, tour operators, companies distributing roadbooks to customers or employees) will require a commercial license; contact us before any such use.

The service is provided “as is”, without any warranty. Itineraries, schedules, prices and other travel information displayed in a roadbook, including content generated by an AI, are the responsibility of whoever authored the roadbook; always double-check critical information (bookings, departure times, documents) with the relevant providers.

Bookings and tickets referenced in a roadbook are contracts between you and the corresponding providers. Cedaya is not a travel agency and is not a party to those contracts.

Documents (vouchers, PDFs) are referenced as links to your own storage: they are not hosted by the service, which never has access to them.

AI features run in your browser with your own API key, sent only to the provider you configured (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or a custom endpoint). Their use is governed by that provider’s terms, and any related costs are yours.

You remain responsible for the content you import or share. Do not use the service to store or distribute unlawful content.

These terms may evolve with the product; significant changes will be announced in the application.

Privacy

Without an account, everything stays on your device: roadbooks live in your browser’s local storage and nothing is sent to a server.

With an account, we store your email address and your roadbooks in end-to-end encrypted form: encryption keys stay on your devices, and the server only ever sees ciphertext. We technically cannot read your trips.

Share links carry the decryption key in the URL fragment (after the #), which browsers never send to the server. Share those links only with people you trust.

No advertising, no trackers. Anonymous, cookie-free audience measurement (Vercel Analytics) counts page views only. Only the cookies strictly needed for signing in are used. If you use the included RoadBook+ AI, your requests pass through our server to Anthropic and are never stored: only the token count is kept, for quotas.

Synced roadbooks are automatically deleted three months after the trip ends, unless you choose to keep them. You can delete a roadbook or your whole account at any time.

To exercise your data-protection rights (access, rectification, erasure, GDPR), write to contact@cedaya.fr.

Cookies

RoadBook+ uses no advertising or tracking cookies and shows no consent banner because none is needed: the only cookie is the session cookie set when you sign in (strictly necessary, first-party, expires with the session).

Your preferences (language, theme) and your roadbooks are stored on your device (localStorage, IndexedDB): they never leave it unless you enable encrypted sync. The anonymous audience measurement (Vercel Analytics) uses no cookie and no fingerprint.

Third-party services opened from the app (maps, airlines, your AI provider, Wikimedia images) apply their own policies once you leave our pages.

Trademarks

“RoadBook+” and its logo are trademarks of Cedaya. The Roadbook file format itself is open and MIT-licensed: anyone may implement it; see roadbookformat.org.

Anthropic, Claude, OpenAI, Google and Gemini are trademarks of their respective owners, mentioned only to describe compatibility. All other names belong to their owners.
