RoadBook
RoadBook

Your roadbook, ready to go.

Your day-by-day plan, bookings, offline-scannable QR codes, practical info, plan Bs: one roadbook, built from your reservations and enriched by hand or with AI.

Everything stays on your device: nothing is sent to our servers, and AI requests go straight from your browser to the AI you choose, whether your own, local or remote.

The whole roadbook can be read without any network.

How it works

Three steps: from your confirmations to a roadbook in everyone’s pocket.

  1. 1

    Start from your bookings

Drop your confirmations (e-mails, PDFs) or describe the trip to the AI guide. Prefer by hand? Edit everything directly.

  2. 2

    A day-by-day roadbook

Timed steps, maps, plan Bs, weather, scannable tickets and practical info: one clear plan for each day.

  3. 3

    In your pocket, shared

Works offline on the phone, shared with your travellers by an end-to-end encrypted link. The file is yours, in an open format.

One roadbook. Your entire trip.

Everything you need on the road, not just a list of places.

Your AI, your file

Already planning with AI?

Ask your AI to hand you your itinerary as a RoadBook (.json), then open it here. We give you the prompt; your assistant does the rest, and you keep the file.

Copy the RoadBook prompt →

Or use the built-in AI guide: it writes the roadbook from your confirmations, right in RoadBook+.

Frequently asked questions

1Do I need an account?
No. Open or create a roadbook and use it offline on this device without any account. An account only adds encrypted sync across devices and sharing links.
2How do I create a roadbook?
Three ways: drop your confirmations (e-mails, PDFs) and let the built-in AI guide write it; describe the trip to your own AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini…) with our prompt and open the file it returns; or build it by hand in the editor.
3Does it work without network?
Yes. Once opened, the whole roadbook (programme, bookings, tickets, notes) is stored on the phone and works offline, as an installable app. Tickets are rendered as scannable codes from their payload, no PDF needed.
4Where is my data?
On your device. Nothing is uploaded when you open a roadbook. If you enable sync or sharing, the roadbook is encrypted on your device before it leaves it; we store ciphertext only and cannot read it.
5Can my travellers follow the roadbook on their phone?
Yes: one private link per person, read-only or editing, without an account. A surprise mode can hide the coming days from whoever you want to surprise.
6What is the “open format”?
A RoadBook is a plain file in a documented, versioned, MIT-licensed format (roadbookformat.org). That is what lets any AI or travel tool create one, and what keeps the file yours. You never need to touch it to use RoadBook.
7Is it free?
Yes for travellers: reading, following and editing roadbooks on your device is free, with the online editor and 200K AI tokens a month. Sharing links and encrypted sync start at €9/month with 1 M AI tokens (€29 with 5 M), or bring your own API key. Companies have a dedicated offer: see Pricing.
